Diebold Nixdorf is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst / MIS Expert for its corporate operational hubs in Hyderabad and Mumbai. This position leverages software automation and database integrations to transform multi-source datasets into clean, actionable business summaries. The day-to-day operations are heavily anchored in advanced spreadsheet automation, local programming frameworks, and low-code data pipelines. You will partner with business unit leaders to define operational KPIs, build daily/weekly predictive views of global commerce operations, resolve data execution friction, and optimize reporting dashboards for speed, layout branding, and scale.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent practical technical work experience required.
• 2–4 years of continuous, hands-on professional experience operating within a Business Intelligence, Management Information Systems (MIS), or macro-driven business planning function.
• Advanced, expert-level proficiency handling large datasets using Microsoft Excel. This includes designing highly complex multi-tier calculations, nesting array logic, configuring advanced lookup indices, and parsing unstructured data files.
• Strong hands-on engineering experience writing, debugging, and maintaining functional VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code blocks, custom user forms, and automated routines to optimize manual system overhead.
• Practical capability configuring extract-transform-load (ETL) steps using Power-Query to merge diverse data sources, alongside orchestrating low-code business workflows through Power-Automate.
• General understanding of object-oriented technical design methods to map reusable automation scripts, manage script logic blocks, and build modular, clean code repositories.
• Proven ability to monitor data pipelines, recognize system calculation bottlenecks, optimize processing structures for data-load efficiency, and discover trend patterns across high-volume transaction arrays.
• Skill in shaping dashboard view layouts, visual tables, and reporting graphics in strict alignment with modern visual UI best practices and corporate branding rules.
• Good business English communication skills (both written and verbal) to act as a clear translator between raw system logs and strategic questions posed by corporate business executives.
